A warm and heartfelt story of a Sarajevan family navigating their 'everyday life' with gentle humor and love for their modest home. Coupled with Uliks Fehmiu as the unemployed son still living at home are veteran Bosnian stage and film thespians, the great Jasna Bery as mother and Emir Hadžihafizbegović as father struggling to keep his dignity in a corrupt society while his pride is simultaneously wounded on a home turf. Director Tanovic's unobtrusive camera re-creates the intimacy of Sarajevo neighborhoods where an aging patriarch can open up to sympathetic male friends, his son find a love interest, and mother's own worries end up healing the rifts.
